Advanced imaging systems bridge technology gaps to improve ultra-deepwater oil and gas operations, safety and environmental performance
BlueView Technologies, a leader in underwater imaging solutions has been selected by RPSEA to develop critical sensing capabilities that will provide detailed measurements, leak detection, and detection of degraded pipeline insulation in ultra-deepwater (>15,000 ft.) environments for the U.S. oil and gas industry. The new imaging sonar systems will improve operating efficiency, reduce time and costs, minimize reworks, and improve safety and environmental performance by providing data to enable proactive maintenance and/or repair activities. The DoD fueled technology developed by BlueView will expand the quality and fidelity of engineering information to improve underwater metrology and accelerate installations, enhance inspection capability to ensure flow, and reduce downtime or shut-in with detailed structure assessments.
